A TRIBUTE OF OBSERVATION AND INTERACTION:
ED STEELE – CARRYING HOME THE WATER OF GRACE

This man, kind, gentle, unassuming
Filled with grace, shared without cost, seeking to help others
Striving to be more like Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit
He walks like me, but Ed’s life is overflowing with the work of Christ

Ed loves his wife, devotedly, she is the center of his Earthly life
Their children and grandchildren gracefully loved
He took his vows seriously, eternally, working out his marriage daily
The two one, never undone by life’s chaos and vagary

An example, I’ve observed, and followed, praying for that kind of change in me
Ed has a peaceful life in the midst of a battlefield, never far from Christ
His life something for us to emulate, a prayer warrior, a Christ lover
The image of God indelibly impressed upon his countenance

He is a quiet leader, humble servant
Useable and useful in God’s kingdom here on Earth
A friend of all he meets, a professor beloved by his students
Ed takes all to the Father’s throne, grace is Ed’s home
